The proportion of older people in our society is steadily rising. This development necessitates the constant adaptation of structures in politics and the economy, in health and social services, as well as in education. This requires experts who are familiar with the ageing process and the needs of older people. Our Bachelor’s in Gerontology will prepare you for the challenges of demographic change and working with older people.
Gerontology is an interdisciplinary science with many sub-fields. Our online study programme in Gerontology examines demographic change from different perspectives and provides you with optimal training for a professional remit that spans operational, planning-coordinating, advisory and teaching activities. Your fields of application as a gerontologist are diverse; you therefore have the opportunity to find your desired professional footing as part of a practical project during your studies. In addition, you can acquire your qualification as a care advisor as per Section 7a German Social Code (SGB XI).

Estudio a distancia sin concesiones
