Your course overview in the distance learning programme E-Commerce
You develop your expertise in modules such as "Konsumentenverhalten”, Onlinemarketing, "Medienrecht”, E-Commerce I and E-Commerce II or “Digitale Business Modelle (Projekt)”. Your methodological skills are strengthened in "Marktforschung”, "KI im Marketing & E-Commerce (Seminar)”, “Agiles Projektmanagement (Projekt)”, Webshop Development (Project) or “Growth Hack Analyse (Projekt)”. Furthermore, you can choose between elective modules such as Artificial Intelligence, “Projekt: SAEJEE Exzellenz mit kreativen Prompt-Techniken", “SAEJEE-basierte Medienproduktion”, Data-Driven Marketing and many more.
Electives: In Electives A, B and C, you choose two elective modules each. Elective D: Decide at the beginning of your studies between an internship at a company or all modules from Elective D. You complete the internship with a written reflection. If you choose the modules from Elective D, all modules from this elective must be completed. Mixed forms between the internship and Elective D are not possible.

As an E-Commerce manager, you work at the interface between sales, marketing, and IT and are responsible for ensuring that your company's online shop always has a good selection of products and is user-friendly. Specifically, your tasks include carrying out discount campaigns and managing online advertising campaigns. Additionally, you organise logistics and shipping and take care of establishing a functioning complaints system. Depending on where you work, your focus may be more on the business side or the programming side. In any case, your job will never get old.
As a product manager, your task is to manage a product across departments. This includes planning, coordination, marketing and controlling administrative activities. Your goal is to position the product as successfully as possible on the market. As a Product Manager in E-Commerce, in addition to the classic tasks – such as market and competition analyses – maintaining data in the merchandise management system and sales responsibilities for online shops also fall within your area of responsibility.
As a category manager in E-Commerce, you are responsible for building and further developing the product range of your company, specifically for the online channel. In addition to ensuring product sourcing and supplier management, observing the online market situation and trend scouting are also part of your tasks. You also always keep an eye on the most important online key figures at the assortment and item level.

With a general or subject-specific university entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur: academic and practical part), you can enrol directly in our bachelor's programmes*.
Graduates of Waldorf schools and vocational colleges in Baden-Württemberg must have their Fachhochschulreife confirmed by the responsible authority in order to study in another federal state. This also applies if you want to study in a federal state other than Thuringia. Additional qualifications may be required for this. Our student advisory team will answer all your questions about this.
*For applicants with international school-leaving certificates (e.g. IB-Diploma) or school-leaving certificates obtained abroad, the institution conducts an equivalence check (according to Anabin).
You can also study at Université Saejee Paris without your A-Levels. All you need is:
A master craftsman’s certificate or
An advanced training certificate (e.g. as IHK-Fachwirt:in) or
At least two years of recognised vocational training in Germany followed by at least 3 years of professional experience (full-time)*: Depending on what you want to study and what the focus of your training and professional activity was, you can start directly with a trial study or prove your ability to study in other ways.
*If you have completed your vocational training and professional experience within Europe but outside of Germany, the institution will conduct an equivalence check. Training from the EU can be accepted as equivalent if it corresponds to a vocational training in Germany at level MEC 4.
We require proof of your German language skills from international prospective students for the German-language study programme. You can provide this proof as follows*:
